Shoreline HR Consulting is proud to announce that it has been recognized as the 2026 Business of the Year (1-30 Employees) by the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce. The award was presented during the Chamber’s annual Small Business Awards Ceremony held on May 7, 2026, at Saint Clements Castle & Marina.
Founded in 2020 by Sheila McKinley-Bell, Shoreline HR Consulting was created to provide expert, on-demand human resources support to small and mid-sized businesses that need professional HR guidance without the expense of maintaining a full-time, in-house department. Over the years, the firm has become a trusted partner to organizations across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, information technology, education, nonprofits, municipalities, construction, and more.
Shoreline HR Consulting provides strategic and practical HR solutions tailored to the needs of growing organizations. Services include onboarding, compensation planning, performance management, employee relations, workplace investigations, employment law compliance, and the development of employee handbooks and policies. In addition to serving clients throughout Connecticut, Sheila McKinley-Bell is an active member of the local community, contributing her time to the Middlesex Chamber’s HR Council, Women’s Leadership Collaborative, and Women’s Business Network. She also serves as Board President of The Estuary and President of the Clinton VFW Auxiliary.
